I’m not sure what my dad went through as a soldier in WWII. He was a good soldier though. He always came home safe, and he always went back to that funeral home. I think the only reason he was able to get a job there is because he was of German descent and the funeral home was in South Eastern Pennsylvania. After he left earth, it was just me and my mom. I enjoyed taking care of the place and watching over my mom. I helped out with funeral preparations, and I always made sure the place was nice and clean. My dad was a good soldier, and he was also a good dad. Perfect attendance always, even to smoke between classes in school, was the only thing going on, or be a dweeb.
